Welcome to National Board Certification- Candidate Considerations. This course was developed by Jocelyne Waddle of the Kentucky Department of Education’s Office of Educator Licensure and Effectiveness and Sarah Yost, who served as KY NBCT Network President from 2020 to 2022. This course was created in conjunction with the Kentucky Education Association, Kentucky National Board Network, and the Kentucky Department of Education. In this course you will take a self guided look at the National Board process and determine whether you are ready and prepared to pursue National Board Certification at this time.
