KEA seeks an experienced UniServ Director to grow, support, and retain membership in our largest local, the Jefferson County Teachers’ Association (JCTA).  The successful applicant must strongly support public education and the vision, mission, and values of KEA; hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher; and have previous demonstrable experience in union, issue, or community organizing. KEA seeks a well-qualified individual to fill the role of Accountant.  The Accountant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and processes in the finance and accounting department in accordance with the duties set out in this job description, or as directed by the Director of Finance. The accountant is not responsible for the supervision of staff. This is a full-time, non-bargaining unit position principally located on-site at the Association’s headquarters.

Salary range:  $65,000 and up, depending on credentials and experience
