KEA consists of 12 regions throughout the commonwealth with 22 professional field staff representatives providing you in-person representation on issues like workplace grievances, improvement plans, and evaluation appeals.
Being your best as an educator means knowing your profession and livelihood is legally protected if something goes wrong at work, and that you have a professionally trained representative to stand with you.
Our 22 staff representatives are professionally trained to resolve workplace issues quickly and experly. Local association leaders also represent you in every school district and school system.
No educator plans on classroom problems, but they sometimes arise with no warning. That’s why KEA legal services are free to all active members with no limit on dollar value. Our in-state and on-staff attorneys serve members at no cost and will handle a case from start to finish.
KEA Legal Services
As a KEA member you recieve free legal services on work-related issues with no limit on dollar value. Our in-house, in-state education lawyers handle cases from start to finish.
$1 million Liability
KEA provides one million dollars in liability coverage per member per occurrence with no cap. No other organization offers that.
