- Secured paid maternity leave up to 30 days for all school district employees by 2030.
- In 2024, defeated private school vouchers in Consitutional Amendment 2 to keep public dollars in public schools.
- Led lawsuits against school vouchers in 2021 that the KY supreme court unanimously struck down.
- Led repeal of WEP/GPO social security penalty in 2024 so educators receive socail security benefits.
