ADVOCACY

Session calendar:  Per the Kentucky Constitution, the Kentucky General Assembly meets for 30 legislative days in odd-numbered years and for 60 legislative days in even-numbered years.  Every session calendar includes 10 veto days.  The calendar for each session is established by legislative leadership shortly before the session begins.  The 2022 legislative session calendar is available on the LRC website, www.legislature.ky.gov 

Daily/weekly calendar:  Each chamber has standing committees that meet regularly throughout the legislative session.  The Standing Committee calendar is available on the LRC website.
