KEA's Survive and Thrive Classroom Management Tools - Register by June 1
KEA’s Survive and Thrive (I Can Do It!)program assists classroom teachers and classroom assistants, grades P-12, to improve their instruction and behavior management skills. The program is specifically designed for first through fifth year teachers. However, veteran teachers and assistants looking for new classroom management tools and those with corrective action plans may also want to attend. June 1 is deadline for registration to June 10 conference. Register online at https://www.kea.org/register.html.

EKEA Scholarship Application - Deadline May 31
Eastern Kentucky Education Association will be awarding three (3) $750 scholarships for the Spring 2008-2009 semester. To be eligible, applicants must be a member of KEA and teach in the EKEA district. Qualified applicants must be seeking Rank II - 5th Year Program or Masters, Rank I, or National Board Certification. Deadline for applying for the spring session is May 31, 2008.

KEA Professional Development in Leadership Skills Conference June 13-14
This KEA Leadership Conference will be held in Bowling Green, KY at the Holiday Inn University Plaza, June 13-14, 2008. Deadline for registration is Monday, June 2.
