Wages & Benefits - Health Insurance

Kentucky Employees' Health Plan (KEHP) is a self-funded program providing health insurance benefits to the employees and retirees of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, local school boards, some cities and county governmental agencies. Kentucky Employees' Health Plan currently offers coverage to approximately 285,000 employees, retirees and their dependents. Visit http://personnel.ky.gov/dei/ for more information.

KEHP mandatory open enrollment will occur October 1-31.  Please take time to review your health insurance options carefully, since all the plans have changed (see below for Benefits Selection Guide). You should receive an important mailing from KEHP very soon that will include a "benefits analyzer" that will help you choose the right plan for your individual circumstances.  KEHP will also hold benefits fairs around the state throughout the month of October.  If you need assistance selecting the appropriate plan option for you, please attend a benefits fair and talk with a KEHP professional.
