Kentucky Community and Technical Education Association is a statewide local advocating the interests and needs of Career and Technical staff and faculty in area technology centers and community colleges across Kentucky. The organization’s constitution provides for a leadership structure composed of a leadership team headed by the President and a Board of Directors representing the geographical regions of the state. The organization’s advocacy is visible at KCTCS Board of Regents meetings, Kentucky General Assembly meetings, and other agency/committee meetings when decisions are made affecting the lives of members of KCTEA and the organization itself. Further, it provides information updates and networking opportunities through its meetings, newsletters, and conference exhibits.
