In our partnership with BetterLesson, NEA is recruiting applicants for 65 Master Teacher positions to create lessons aligned with current, adopted science standards for the 2014 – 2015 school year. These Master Teachers will be exceptional instructors currently teaching elementary, middle school or high school science. They have track records of supporting student learning; they are proven architects of student-centered lessons; they are demonstrably grounded in 21st century STEM skills; they are capable and confident with technology; and they are ready to serve as ambassadors for the NGSS.
The NEA/BetterLesson Master Teachers will receive a $15,000 stipend, and the priority application deadline is May 16, 2014.
